Slot machine developer Play’n Go has unveiled one of its next releases through Matsuri, a video slot on popular Japanese festivals. Matsuri are often associated with neighborhood, village or city festivals.
The country of the Rising Sun and Asia are once again attracting the curiosity of the Play’n Go slot developers since they have already touched on related themes such as Chinese New Year, Ninja Fruit or Still Golden Legend.
Recently, it was around the surprising slot machine Prissy Princess that Play’n Go had made talk about them.
The Matsuri Slot Machine offers a beautiful backdrop from where a certain tranquility comes to life, with the surrounding area of a lake on the shores of which one can see the colored lights of the surrounding villages on a clear night.
Matsuri unveils 25 pay lines spread over three rows and five reels of symbols. Among them the player will find ice cream, meatballs, skewers, and wilds in the form of lanterns, bouquets of flowers, goldfish, fans and effigies of young girls.
Costume masks representing a cat’s mouth serve as scatters.
If the player has 3 cat masks on the reels, he starts 8 free spins. These free spins can be re-activated, with a free spins of up to 2 free spins, up to a maximum of 20 free spins.
The Wilds symbols can span their entire roll, as they appear on the screen during free spins. The extended wild remains then on the screen during free spins and moves one roller to the left, with each new spin free. It can replace all symbols, except scatters, if it can form a pay combination.
In addition, a bonus game is activated by the occurrence of three red gold symbols on the screen. The player can then play a pick and win game by trying to fish goldfish using a spoon of paper. Each fish caught can reveal a betting multiplier.
The Matsuri slot machine is announced in March 2017. The preview of its design and its game play has put us in the mouth, we are in a hurry to be able to discover this new creation of Play’n Go.
